Michelle Novitsky (She/They), MHC-LP
Psychotherapist
Welcome to your therapy journey, or welcome back! Now that you’re here, what do you discuss? How do you begin that conversation about mental health and wellness? As your therapist, Michelle will immerse you in the therapy experience and provide a safe space for you to talk about yourself and what you’re looking for.
In her work, Michelle is a queer-affirming therapist who takes a relational approach to therapy, where she encourages you to explore your past relationships and reflect upon how they may have impacted you now. She treats anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD, life transitions, and negative self-esteem, and works with a diverse range of clients like college students, adults, and individuals in BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ communities. She has experience working in various clinical settings as a mental health counselor, from college counseling centers to community clinics, to private practice.
Michelle received her MA in Mental Health Counseling at Brooklyn College, where she learned the importance of active listening and empowering others. Outside of therapy, Michelle is an artist, a social justice advocate, and an animal lover. If you are interested in booking with Michelle, please schedule an appointment through Greenpoint Psychotherapy’s website.
