Jessica Keeney, MHC-LP, is a dedicated mental health counselor and proud alumnus of St. John’s University. Jessica graduated with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, a program that laid the foundation for her profound understanding of human psychology and its diverse aspects. At the core of Jessica’s practice is her unwavering commitment to acceptance and empathy. She believes that these values are vital in building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients. Jessica’s therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in a strong code of ethics, and is eclectic yet focused. She skillfully combines the Person-centered approach, where the client’s individual experience is the primary focus, with the insights offered by Psychodynamic therapy, exploring the influence of the past on present behavior. Additionally, she incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, effectively addressing thought patterns and behaviors. Her experience spans a wide spectrum of clients, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and everyday life stress.
