Dednika Louisthelmy (She/Her), LMSW
Psychotherapist
Dednika is a Licensed Master Social Worker who offers a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences with curiosity, honesty, and care. She works with adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
Dednika takes an integrative and relational approach to therapy, drawing from CBT, attachment-informed and psychodynamic perspectives, mindfulness-based strategies, and solution-focused techniques. She believes meaningful change begins within a safe therapeutic relationship and works alongside clients to better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships while developing practical tools that support growth in everyday life.
Her work is grounded in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, with attention to how identity, community, and lived experiences shape each person’s story. Dednika is especially passionate about supporting clients as they move beyond survival and toward a fuller sense of confidence, connection, and personal alignment.
