Lexi McKeon is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) dedicated to creating a
compassionate, nonjudgmental, safe space to explore and grow. Lexi uses evidence based
practices to support clients by utilizing aspects of CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and
mindfulness techniques. Lexi has experience working with individuals who experience anxiety,
depression, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal relationship issues, eating disorders, grief, etc.
Lexi also has extensive experience working with individuals with neurodiverse backgrounds
including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, executive
functioning needs, social skills support, daily living skills support, etc.
Lexi’s goal is to empower individuals by utilizing their strengths and continuing to build their tool
boxes so they can be as independent as possible. Lexi believes there is no “one size fits all”
and strives to meet each client’s individual needs. Lexi works collaboratively with individuals to
create an approach personalized to each client’s needs, values, and goals. Lexi believes that
each individual is doing their best and their best may vary day to day. Lexi strives to break
mental health stigmas and advocates for a more inclusive environment.
Lexi received her Masters in Social Work at New York University. Lexi also received her
Masters in Education, specifically, Working with Individuals with Severe/Multiple Disabilities at
Teachers College, Columbia University.
