Nitasha utilizes a transformative lens and person-centered approach in her therapy, which puts your lived experience at the center of your work together. Nitasha’s tailored combination of talk and art therapy helps her to be able to meet you wherever you are on your healing journey. She also uses therapy informed by social justice and an understanding of trauma, in conjunction with cultural and narrative therapies, to work with you toward healing and exploration. She utilizes art therapy to provide space for creative expression, growth, and awareness. Through these combined restorative therapeutic approaches, Nitasha has worked with clients with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), depression, ADHD, and anxiety, as well as other diagnoses. Additionally, Nitasha is proud of her experience supporting neurodivergent and developmentally disabled children, including Autistic and Dyslexic children. Nitasha works with you on re-imaging new ways of belonging, expressing, and thriving. Nitasha wants to help you to release the fear of judgment and reintroduce self-care, self-expropriation, and self-love.
