Jeremy Martin

Jeremy is a compassionate and client-centered LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist striving to help clients feel safe to explore all aspects of themselves using art therapy, psychotherapy, mindfulness and motivational interviewing. As a creative arts therapist, Jeremy has collaborated with clients by tailoring interventions to their unique needs, and has witnessed them make meaningful connections to their artwork, developing new skills in the process. He is able to work with clients who seek talk therapy exclusively as well.

 
He has five years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, supporting a wide range of needs including anxiety, trauma, depression, illness, and identity development. As a queer person of color, his work is informed by intersectionality and motivated by his personal experience with the communities he serves. In addition to being a clinician, Jeremy maintains his own artistic practice and encourages his clients to explore creative expression in their daily lives. Jeremy earned an M.P.S in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute and a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising with a Minor in Fine Art from Wayne State University.
