Carrie Altermese-Suter is a therapist who uses a person-centered approach to therapy. This means that she creates a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to be their most genuine selves, explore the past, be in the present, and engage with hope for the future.
Carrie was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She received her Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College. Carrie has worked with individuals experiencing substance abuse as well as ADHD and neurological disorders. Carrie also has experience engaging individuals in counseling to cope with anger, anxiety, mood disorders, and other challenges.
