Rachel is committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to cultivate their inner strengths and feel more empowered in their lives. She utilizes a person-centered and trauma-informed approach working with clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity development, and career development.
Rachel incorporates CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness techniques to support clients in processing their life experiences. She has experience working in the performing arts and working with artists and creative types. As a biracial therapist and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, Rachel is passionate about working with multicultural populations and exploring the intersectionality of various identities.
Rachel holds a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Music from New York University.
