Tyisha Nedd (She/Her) is a registered Dance/Movement Therapist and Creative Arts Therapist. She received her Masters in Science for Dance/Movement Therapy from Pratt Institute in 2020. Tyisha acknowledges that the body holds essential information for understanding our experiences in the world. Her work utilizes body based practices, the creative process, and mindfulness to support clients on their life journeys. Tyisha guides clients in engaging the body as a means to support processing, vitality, insight, empowerment, body-mind connection, and healing. She has worked with people of all ages and many experiences including anxiety, depression, relationship issues (monogamous/polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous), grief, identity (LGBTQ+, gender, race, ability, neurodivergence, spirituality/religion) and trauma. She seeks to offer a grounded and collaborative space that honors each person’s unique experiences.
