Nat is a Creative Arts Therapist and practicing artist whose therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in being person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. They are dedicated to nurturing and supporting clients throughout their healing journey. They seek to assist others in using creative expression as a way to explore oneself and understand thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.
Nat tailors their approach to meet each client’s unique needs. They integrate modalities such as internal family systems (IFS), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness in order to aid in navigating personal identity, exploring behavior, and managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflict. They are passionate about creating a space that honors intersectional identities, operates from an anti-oppressive perspective, and is affirming to LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse individuals.
Nat is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those they work with and offers a safe, gentle, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their emotions and experiences. They have experience working with children, youth, and young/emerging adults facing a wide variety of challenges. They received their Master’s in Art Therapy at the School of Visual Arts.
