Gabriella emphasizes a strength-based approach, helping clients build resilience and confidence. She is an enthusiastic and passionate mental health counselor with prior experience working with individuals and couples. Gabriella creates a warm, empathetic, and safe space, encouraging emotional vulnerability and openness, free of judgment. Gabriella assists clients in defining their treatment goals and continuously discusses progress towards these self-defined goals throughout your work with her. Gabriella believes that psychotherapy is a collaborative experience between clinician and client, built on trust and transparency. Gabriella works from an integrative approach, tailoring treatment to fit the client’s existing strengths, life experience, upbringing, and cultural background. Gabriella also incorporates mindfulness practices into her work, helping to increase presence and self-reflection. Gabriella received a BA in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz, minoring in Disaster Studies. To make her dream of working with others on a deeper level a reality, she achieved her MA degree in Mental Health Counseling from the City College of New York. Gabriella also understands the importance of regular self-care practices; hiking, watching documentaries, and spending time with loved ones in her free time.
