Allison is a compassionate and insightful therapist dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where clients can express themselves without fear of judgment. She fosters a space that encourages self-exploration, self-expression, and personal growth. By integrating client-centered talk therapy, Allison tailors her approach to meet each client at their unique point on their journey toward self-discovery and healing.
Believing in a holistic perspective, Allison supports clients in deepening their self-awareness, identifying and pursuing their goals, overcoming feelings of guilt and shame, and developing healthier emotional regulation.
Allison has experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, seniors, and families, addressing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, grief, mental illness, depression, and dementia. Allison specialize in helping those facing mental health challenges and am well-equipped to guide clients through their healing journeys, particularly in overcoming grief and trauma. My goal is to create a trusting relationship where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and emotions.
Allison earned a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from Long Island University. In practicing self care Allison enjoys hiking, movies, and creative outlets including painting, drawing, and playing guitar.
