Psychotherapist
Kera (she/her) is a therapist that uses a mindfulness-based approach to allow yourself to be aware and present when dealing with the strains of everyday life while simultaneously improving your mental well-being. She provides clients with the tools to be able to live a more resilient lifestyle through approaches drawn from dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness-based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Kera received her Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU Steinhardt. She has experience working with adolescents and adults processing anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, and self-harm. Her goal is to teach you tools so you are equipped to practice and apply them in everyday life and to remove the negative stigma surrounding mental health.
