Contact our intake team to schedule with an intake coordinator. They'll match you with the right therapist based on your needs, preferences, and insurance. From there, your therapist will reach out to schedule your first session.
We accept Cigna, Aetna, 1199 SEIU, UHC, Oscar, Oxford, Magnacare, and Tricare. We also work with clients using out-of-network benefits. See our New Clients page for information on out-of-network care and superbills.
You will be expected to pay for each session at the time it is held and you will be expected to keep a card on file. Payment is made through your client portal account prior to the start of your session. You can also ask your therapist to charge your card on file if that is easier for you. Should payment happen to not be made on the day of the appointment, our medical billers will charge your card on file once the claim for your session processes.
The majority of our sessions are conducted via telehealth, which is available to clients anywhere in New York State and New Jersey. A small number of our clinicians offer in-person appointments at our Brooklyn office. Contact our intake team to ask about in-person availability.
The length of therapy depends on your goals, your history, and the kind of support you're looking for. Some clients benefit from a focused, short-term course of therapy over a few months. Others engage in ongoing therapy for a year or more. Your therapist will work with you to set goals and revisit them regularly.
Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is confidential. There are a small number of legally defined exceptions — such as if there is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or in cases of child abuse — which your therapist will explain during your first session.
The therapeutic relationship matters. If your current match isn't working for any reason, contact our intake team and we'll do our best to find a better fit within our practice. There is no penalty for switching.
